Best Steps Family Child Care is located in close proximity to three Long Beach elementary schools Riley, Madison, and Holmes. Our child care center is located within easy access for the 405, 710, 605 and 91 freeways. We are members of the Lakewood Chamber and have been open and operating in the City of Lakewood since 1994. In June 2012, our Owner Director was named as Home Based Business Champion for 2012 by the United States Small Business Administration. (please see pictures from this event in Our Preschool Section.

Our Our facility is twice accredited by the National Association for Family Child Care. Best Steps Family Child Care and was established in 1994 with a vision to foster a love of learning in children in a safe home away from home atmosphere. We aim to turn education into fun and play and provide engaging experiences for children that build healthy early learning foundations. Our low-teacher to student ratio and interactive approach to education helps to develop not only educational skills, but social skills as well.
